<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a blowing air quantity and to enhance cleaning effect of indoor air by preventing reduction of wind velocity of ionic wind, in even an ionic wind-inducing type air cleaner provided with an electric dust collection means. SOLUTION: This air cleaner is provided with a dust cleaning means and an ionic wind-inducing means 5 for electrifying dusts B in air and inducing the ionic wind, an electric dust collection means 6 having a nearly planar dust collection part 6a arranged in almost parallel to a flow direction A of the ionic wind, and an ionization part 60 for discharging minus ions. A discharge part 3 and a counter electrode part 4 for constituting the dust discharge means and the ionic wind-inducing means 5 are arranged at an air sucking port 11 side rather than the electric dust collection means 6 side, and also a wind generation means 19 for acceleration the velocity of wind is arranged at an air blow- off port 12 side rather than the electric dust collection means 6 side.</p> |
