PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil discharge device attaching mechanism which can enlarge a soil discharge capacity in comparison with a usual soil discharge device as usual technical advantages are kept. SOLUTION: In a shield excavating machine where a screw conveyor 7 is attached to the partition wall 9 of a front shield piece, the inner periphery of the other end part of an outside casing 1 whose one end part is attached to the partition wall 9 is formed in a cylindrical face-shaped sliding face, and the outer periphery of the one end part of an inside casing 2 having the screw conveyor 7 provided in the other end part is fittedly attached to the inner periphery of the other end part, and both the casings 1, 2 are pivoted on their outsides with a pin 5. A projected part 2a formed of a curved face which comes into sliding contact with the inner periphery of the outside casing 1 when the inside casing 2 is rotated centering around the pin 5 is provided on the outer circumference of the one end part of the inside casing 2. The interference of the screw conveyor 7 to the surrounding apparatus at the time of the rotation of the front shield piece can be prevented by such means, and moreover the inside diameter of the screw conveyor 7 attached to the inside casing 2 can be relatively enlarged. |
