PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, rapidly, accurately and highly sensitively detect and identify the fungi of the genus Rhizoctonia by preparing a specific oligonucleotide on the basis of a 18S ribosome RNA sequence characteristic to the genus Rhizoctonia. SOLUTION: This oligonucleotide contains either of basic sequences CGACTCT, CCGCT, GCCTACCATGGTTTC, CCGGCA, CTAGAGTCGCC, TAGTATTCAGTT, TCAGGCCGG, TTTGGGGA and GGCACTCTATT or base sequences complementary to the sequences and is useful a probe for hybridization or nucleic acid proliferation. The oligonucleotides are mainly prepared by a chemical synthetic method such as a phosphoroamidide method. |
