<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve improvement of face strength and a sweet spot of a head having a back cavity. SOLUTION: A head body 22, where a cavity 14A which is not undercut shape is made at the back, is formed by forging. Next the cavity 14A is cut deeper and removed, which forms an undercut cavity 14. And an included angle between an under surface 18 of the cavity 14 and a face 13 is formed to be less than 83 degrees. Thus, the cavity 14 is formed by cutting after the cavity 14A is formed, thereby less cutting amount is required. And the sweet spot can be made larger by placing the center of gravity at the rear.</p> |
