摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve adhesion which is highly resistant to dry cleaning, by compounding a polyester-urethane copolymer resin with a styrene-maleic acid copolymer so as for the resultant mixture to have a specific melt viscosity. SOLUTION: This adhesive is prepared by compounding a solution of a polyester-urethane copolymer resin, which has a saturated thermoplastic polyester as its main chain and a urethane as a side chain, in a methyl ethyl ketone/ toluene mixed solvent at a concentration of 20 to 40wt.% with 5 to 15wt.% of a tackifier such as a styrene-maleic acid copolymer. The adhesive has a melt viscosity at 125 deg.C of 400 to 600Pa.s and exhibits a tensile elongation at room temperature of 1,200% or more. The adhesive having such a melt viscosity can seep into textures of a water-repellent base cloth and an uneven surface of a body to be adhered, and by using the adhesive an adhesive thickness of 40 to 80μm which is necessary for effective adhesion can be ensured. Due to the softness and a large tensile elongation of this adhesive, stress relaxation takes place at the interface between an adhesive and a body to be adhered in peeling, which results in great adhesiveness.
