PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide as tray-shaped edible vessel that can be filled with various kinds of Japanese, Chinese or Western daily dishes, has new taste and palentability and improves water absorptive stability and texture property, by cutting sheet-shaped soft dough into a size suitable for the female type surface area of tray-shaped metal die and processing it on specified conditions. SOLUTION: The sheet-shaped soft dough is cut into a size suitable for the surface area of female tray-shaped metal die 8 by a cutting means, and this cut sheet-shaped soft dough is adsorbed by an incoming side moving machine 1, carried up and moved onto a line-up table 3. The sheet-shaped soft dough on this line-up table 3 is absorbed by an outgoing side moving machine 2, carried up and moved onto the female tray-shaped metal die 8 of backing machine 5, a male die 7 is let fall on the female tray-shaped metal die 8 placing the sheet-shaped soft dough and fitted and the sheet-shaped soft dough is heated and baked while being held between male and female tray-shaped metal dies 7 and 8. In this case, it is preferable that the sheet-shaped soft dough is pie dough. |
