摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the turbo lug and to improve the starting characteristics by installing a turbo charger which has the maximum capacity at a speed higher than the maximum torque rotating speed of an engine, and a positive displacement supercharger in seried, and performing the two-stage supercharging, while controlling the positive displacement supercharger to constantly keep the air supply amount. SOLUTION: A hybrid supercharged engine comprises a SC (positive displacement supercharger) 5 which is driven by the power of an engine through a belt 4, and further comprises a TC(turbo charger) 10 including a turbine 10b using the exhaust of the engine 1 as a power source, and a compressor 10a of the TC 16 is installed at a downstream side of SC 5. The intake air of which the pressure is risen by these supercharging means, is supplied to the engine 1 through a feed pipe 13 and an air cooler 12. The TC 10 is tuned to obtain a point (d) as the maximum capacity of the TC 10 at the maximum speed of the engine 1. Further on the SC 5, a bypass valve 20 is controlled through an actuator 18 by an electronic controller 17, so that the air intake amount becomes constant regardless of the speed of the engine.
