Device for applying solid lubricant onto lacquered wires - comprises a coating unit contg. at least two pieces of solid lubricant that can be pressed together against a wire. Also claimed are (i) a process for applying solid lubricant onto lacquered wires, and (ii) the use of the device or process for coating lacquered wires, esp. copper ones.
