<p>In a transmitter in a CDMA system, a plurality of pilot signals which are identical with each other are sent in a base band region from a plurality of pilot signal generators to be supplied to a plurality of multipliers which are given signal ratios from a monitor/control unit and to be combined together through the multipliers. The signal ratios are varied by the monitor/control unit so that an amplitude of the combined pilot signal is kept constant even when one or more pilot signal generators are faulty.</p> |
