PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide clean working environment in which generation of sludge is extremely reduced by forming a groove in the exposure part of diamond grain which is fixed to a diamond lapping surface plate. SOLUTION: Diamond grain 1 is fixed after pasted brazing filler metal 4 is applied to a base 3, diamond grain 1 is arranged, diamond grain 1 is put in a furnace, diamond grain 1 is heated, the brazing filler metal 4 is molten and diamond grain 1 is cooled. Therefore, the projecting end of diamond grain 1 projects more than brazing filler metal 4. The tip of this projecting diamond grain 1 is flattened by a truing, laser beam is irradiated on the flat surface and a groove 3 is formed. Because generation of sludge is extremely reduced because diamond grain 1 itself cuts a work piece, a working in clean environment becomes possible and little anxiety about generation of pollution is produced. Further, lapping working with high efficiency and high accuracy can be performed. |
