PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turning gear capable of restraining any height ranging from the floor to the top of a turntable as low as possible even if this turntable or the like is made larger in size. SOLUTION: In this turning gear to be provided with a distributor 40 to supply or discharge cooling water to or from a turntable installed in and around the tip part of a turning shaft 30, this distributor 40 is composed of a rotating part 42 rotatably installed along with the turning shaft 30 after slidingly contacting with a sealing member 48 installed on a outer circumferential surface of a fixed part 44 being situated just under the turntable, two fluid passages 50a and 50b to supply or discharge cooling water to or from the turntable, formed each in this rotating part and the fixed part 44, and two connecting members 54a and 54b being installed as held between these fluid passages 52a, 52b and the sealing member 48, and connecting these fluid passages 50a, 50b and 52a, 52b to each other, respectively. |
