PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform mold cuttings for curve cutting and linear cutting by inserting and forming the starting end part of a strand wire for one end of a cutting core wire so as to be located at a wire center in its butting state against the termination part of the strand wire for the other end of the cutting core wire in the connection part. SOLUTION: A cutting wire in which an endless wire is cut as a material to a dimension which is six times +αas long as the circumferential length of an object endless wire from a ready-made stainless steel wire is twisted back from one end part and is separated into a core wire and six strand wires Wg. A cutting core wire Wc 1 which is cut into six equal parts in the length of the core wire Wc is formed into a circle and strand wires Wg are successively wound in the ready-made strand lead shape on this circular core wire Wc 1. In the connection part of the cutting core wires tip parts E1 , E2 , a starting end A of the strand wire Wg for one end E1 of the cutting core wire Wc 1 and the other end of the strand wire Wg for the other end E2 of a cutting core wire Wc 2 are inserted and formed so as to be located at the center in their butting state.
