PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably preserve bread, etc., without drying it by preserving the food such as bread in sealed container body whose inside is evacuated. SOLUTION: An opening part of a container body 1 is closed by a lid body 2 in a condition where a loaf of bread P is placed in the container body 1 and loaded on an installation plate 3, and the air inside container body 1 is sucked by a pump body 4. When the inside of the container body 1 is evacuated in a condition approximately close to the true vacuum, a packing 7 of the lid body 2 is closely attached to an opening edge of the container body 1 to seal the container body 1 in a negative pressure condition. When the pump body 4 is detached from the lid body 2, a non-return valve 9 is lowered, and deformed from an approximately spherical shape to a flat shape, preventing ingress of the outside air into the container body 1. By sucking the air inside the container body 1, the air inside the sponge-like part of the bread P is simultaneously sucked, and discharged outside the container body 1. |
