PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overhead automatic door drive part which has inherent primary and secondary door panel locks, which can greatly lower the importance of crosswise adjustment of a door, which can minimize a couple of forces which causes abrasion due to an offset between a door drive part and a door panel. SOLUTION: An automatic door opening and closing device 10 which is attached overwrhead of a door opening of a mass transporting vehicle, moves a door panel 5 for opening and closing the door opening. This arrangement includes a base plate 16 for incorporating a revolutional spiral drive part 36, 37 in a door handle 21. The door panel 5 is locked at a closed position by primary and secondary means for inhibiting rotation and movement of the spiral drive part 36, 37. |
