<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance collection efficiency. SOLUTION: An exhaust pipe 4 is formed by covering the inside surface of a steel-made pipe 14 with a refractory 15. A support member 5 is supported at the outside of the exhaust pipe 4, and inserted into the exhaust pipe 4. A discharge electrode 7 is fixed to the support member 5 in an electrically insulated state from the exhaust pipe 4. A surface electrode 6 is fixed to the discharge electrode 7. The surface electrode 6 has a quadrangular pyramid side face shaped mesh 6c. The mesh 6c is arranged coaxially with the exhaust pipe 4 so as to be expanded toward the outlet direction in the inside of the exhaust pipe 4. The discharge electrode 7 is on the center line of the surface electrode 6 and is protruded downward from the vertex of the mesh 6c. A DC high voltage power source 8 is electrically connected to the surface electrode 6 and the discharge electrode 7 via the support member 5, and DC high voltage is impressed between the discharge electrode 7 and the pipe 14.</p> |
