<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce camber without breaking a sheet even when it is a metallic strip on which camber is generated and to execute rolling excellent in yield by continuously detecting the curvature of the final camber, calculating correction by which the tension in the vicinity of the end part on the outlet side of each rolling stand becomes not more than the value of deformation resistance and which is takable as the curvature of the target camber and always correcting preset difference between the right and left rolling loads. SOLUTION: The formula expressed the curvatureρn of the camber on the outlet side of the final rolling stand 2 when the difference dPi between the right and left rollings which is preset at each rolling stand 2 is corrected by correctionΔdPi.ξ1 is defined as the total elongation percentage on and after the (i+1)th rolling stand 2 which is expressed by the ratio hi/hn of the average thicknesses hi, hn after a sheet is passed through the i-th and the final rolling stands 2. By the correction dPi which is determined by the formula and the change of tension (ΔTi=d1 i.Δ(dPi)) in the end part, the correctionΔ(dPi) which is limited under the value of deformation of the ceiling value in the changed tension (Ti+ΔTi) is selected.
