The boot includes the rigid frame (10) with a sole (11), a collar (13), that surrounds the ankle, and a heel stiffener (12). There is a flexible joint (14) between these parts that is flexible longitudinally and transversally. The supple cover (30) is threaded over the frame and is joined to the frame by holes (34) in a foot (33), extending from the cover, that clips on to studs on the lower surface of the sole (11). The cover is joined to an inner boot (20) and the outer wall of the inner boot forms the inner wall of the cover.
