<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save materials and weight as much as possible eliminating debris due to a fuse of a gas bag module for contamination and commercial damage of a protection function for gas bag module. SOLUTION: This gas bag module includes a diffusion pipe 1, a gas generator 2 which is arranged in the diffusion pipe 1 and is coupled with the diffusion pipe 1, a gas bag 3 which is mounted and folded on the diffusion pipe 1 at the outside of the diffusion pipe 1 arranged, a container 4 surrounding the gas bag 3 and cover parts 5, 6 which are fitted between a flange 7 on the end face side of the gas generator 2 or a generator disc 8 and front surface tip parts 9, 10 of the diffusion pipe 1 and further fasten the supporting ring of the gas bag 3 in which an edge area 11 is pulled out on the diffusion pipe 1. The container 4 surrounding the gas bag 3 is made of a bag 12 of textile material indispensably surrounding the diffusion pipe 1 and is formed into the container for the gas bag 3 in which sealing of an exit cross section can be expanded, by two sections 13, 14 which are partially and mutually overlapped and are freely attachably/detachably coupled with each other.</p> |
