PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized loop four waves mixture phase conjugate device capable of using as a practical optical use. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a non-linear cell 12 consisting of a transparent front surface 22, a reflective rear surface 16 and an optical non-linear medium 14 held between them, and a signal beamε1 is made incident on the front of the non-linear cell 12, and is reflected by the rear surface 16 to be outputted as a loop beamε2 . Then, relay optical systems 18, 20 returning this loop beamε2 to the non-linear cell 12, and making the loop beamε2 intersect with the signal beamε1 in the non-linear cell 12 to make interfere them optically, and forming a diffractive index grating in the cell are provided, and an optical loop is formed. An optical diode 24 of an irreversible optical loss that an optical loss in the propagational direction of the loop beamε2 is larger than the optical loss in the reverse direction and an optical gain medium body 26 forming a ring laser resonator are arranged in this optical loop, and an oscillation beamε3 oscillates in the direction opposite to the propagational direction of the loop beamε2 .
