摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out exact and highly sensitive measurement in a short time, safely and with a simple operation, by making, a compound having purine or pyrimidine skeleton in the time of forming a Zn-porphyrin complex, coexist. SOLUTION: A water-soluble porphyrin compound and a compound having purine or pyrimidine skeleton are added to an organism sample, a sample of food, etc., as measuring reagents, and mixed. By making these reagents coexist, the reaction for forming a Zn-porphyrin complex is accelerated. In this case,α,β,γ,δ-tetrakis (4-carboxyphenyl) porphyrin, etc., are used preferably in the water-soluble porphyrin compound. A nucleic acid base, etc., are used preferably in the compound having purine or pyrimidine skeleton. Then, the Zn-porphyrin complex and the water-soluble porphyrin compound not reacted yet are separated by using a chromatography technique. A zinc ion concentration is determined by measuring the extinction or fluorescence of the Zn-porphyrin complex.
