PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the recording and/or reproducing operation of the information to optical recording disks utilizing different recording systems by exchanging a pickup unit body mainly on the same driver and also to enable the easy and sure exchange of the pickup unit body. SOLUTION: A chassis 22 of the pickup unit body 16 is closely adhered against the surface 40c accepting a cam body 40 provided on the side wall of a chassis unit 10 by the exerted downward pressure of a compression spring 35 in the set state of the pickup unit body 16. Also, a pin 34 provided on a turning shaft 32 of a lever 33 arranged on the pickup unit body 16 is restrained to a recessed part 41 of the cam body 40 by the exerted upward pressing force of the compression spring 35, then the pickup unit body 16 is made so as to be held by the chassis unit 10 in this state. |
