PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain covering cloth provided with a reinforcing part which is superior in tensile strength and a surface wear characteristic with a low dusting characteristics and is also provided with hard shape stability in an operation peripheral area by permitting a water repellent unwoven sheet to be integratedly laminated by means of filament unwoven cloth consisting of a thermoplastic polymer resin and staple fiber unwoven cloth. SOLUTION: The water repellent unwoven sheet being a basic sheet for covering cloth for a surgical operation is the unwoven sheet constituted by integratedly laminating filament unwoven cloth consisting of the thermoplastic polymer resin and staple fiber unwoven cloth. Filament unwoven cloth is superior in tensile strength, tear strength and the surface wear characteristic so that covering cloth for the surgical operation, which is superior in tensile strength and the surface wear characteristic, is obtained by the configuration. Besides, an interlining which contains a hot-melt adhesive resin is laminated and bonded between a liquid absorbing sheet and a water repellent sheet in the periphery of the operation area. |
