PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate an anion exchange resin, even in such a case that condensed water of a system wherein amines low in volatility are added to a steam generator is treated, by eluting a decomposition product of amines adsorbed on the anion exchange resin, especially, fatty acid having a relatively high mol.wt. such as glycolic acid in a high elution ratio. SOLUTION: In a method for regenerating a condensed water desalting apparatus passing condensed water through a mixed bed of an anion exchange resin and a cation exchange resin to perform desalting, the mixed bed is separated into the anion exchange resin bed and the cation exchange resin bed and the anion exchange resin bed is brought into contact with alkali (bi)carbonate and subsequently brought into contact with alkali hydroxide to be regenerated while the cation exchange resin is brought into contact with an acid to be generated. Herein, the regeneration waste soln. of the anion exchange resin containing alkali (bi)carbonate and the regeneration waste soln. of the cation exchange resin containing the acid are mixed and a soln. obtained by absorbing generated carbon dioxide by alkali hydroxide is used as alkali (bi)carbonate in the next regeneration. |
