PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a toner smoothly by giving inclination to at least one of the inner sides of a toner hopper so that the shape of the inside of the toner hopper is such that its capacity and shape becomes larger as the toner supply ports become nearer. SOLUTION: The toner hopper 43 for storing toner is disposed on a developing chamber 44 in a vertical direction. In the toner hopper 43 a first toner supply roller 50 and a second toner supply roller 51 are provided, and in the bottom of it the first toner supply port 52 and the second toner supply port 53 are made. As for the inner sides forming the toner hopper 43, excepting upper and lower sides, at least one of the four sides inclines so that the shape of the inside of the hopper is such that its capacity becomes larger as nearer to the first and second toner supply ports 52 and 53. Therefore, when the vibration during transportation or the vibration due to the contact and uncontact of a developing roller 40 with a photoreceptor belt is caused, the toner in the toner hopper 43 is away from the inner side and the force toward the supply ports is generated to prevent the toner from being aggregated. |
