<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a necessity of a metal key at the time of operation by connecting an assembly with a steering lock when a knob is turned and stored at either of two angular positions and connecting it with an ignition switch when the knob protrudes and turns at the other of two angular positions. SOLUTION: An ignition knob 1 is fixed by means of a stopper pin 3 by protruding the stopper pin 3 in a recessed part 1a of the ignition knob 1 in a condition in which electricity is not conducted to a solenoid 2. When the ignition knob 1 is turned and stored at either of two angular positions, power is supplied to the solenoid 2 from a battery 10, the stopper pin 3 is removed from the recessed part 1a of the ignition knob 1 and is connected with a steering lock assembly 7, and when the ignition knob 1 protrudes and turns at the other of two angular positions, it is connected with an ignition switch 8.</p> |
