<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method permitting to inspect short-circuit defects of the liquid crystal panel all over the surface. SOLUTION: A polarizing plate sticking machine for sticking a polarizing plate 16 on a surface of a liquid crystal panel 13 is provided with a signal output terminal (signal output probe) 15 for liquid crystal panel drive. Here, short-circuit defects caused by conductive foreign particles mixed into the liquid crystal are inspected by connecting and impressing a liquid crystal panel inspection signal on each of inspection signal input terminals 9-11 for a picture signal line of the liquid crystal panel 13, a main scanning signal line, and opposed electrodes and a pressure is applied on the surface of the liquid crystal panel 13 by the roller 18 for the polarizing plate sticking, then opposed electrodes is came up to picture electrodes side by the pressure. Thus, it is possible to inspect short-circuit defects of a liquid crystal panel 13 all over the surface.</p> |
