PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize destruction of a recorded image even on the occurrence of problems such as mis-interruption of a power supply SW by the user during image recording and a deficient battery capacity because signals having been recorded before the occurrence of a fault might be destroyed when an unexpected fault takes place during image recording and recording is interrupted without finishing a procedure of a normal recording. SOLUTION: In the case that an image is picked up and data are recorded on a recording medium of a recording section 104, power supply of the device is not interrupted till a prescribed end operation is finished even when a power supply SW 106 is interrupted. In the case that a recording residual capacity of the recording medium reaches less than a prescribed value during the image pickup, the image pickup is automatically stopped and the prescribed recording end operation is made. In the case that the power supply is interrupted in mistake during the image pickup (recording) and the recording is interrupted without the prescribed recording end operation, a prescribed file recovery is made and at least data before the power supply 107 is interrupted are processed as valid data. |
