PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of forming the excellent image while preventing the previous development history from appearing on the forming image by making the revolving speed of a recovering member for recovering the developer fed in excess on the image carrier variable in accordance with the image density. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with a gear 16a on a recovering roller 126 shaft part to transmit the driving force of the gear 18a of a recovering roller driving motor 18 to the recovering gear through an idle gear, and to drive the recovering roller 16. The recovering roller driving motor is constituted so as to be connected with a switch for input for changing rotary speed of the recovering roller 16 provided on a frame body of a copying machine, and to control the rotary speed of the recovering roller 11 by switching by the operator as desired. In such a manner, the rotary speed of the recovering roller 16 is changed corresponding to the toner image density formed on the photoreceptor drum, and a recovering quantity of the toner of the photoreceptor drum can be adjusted. |
