PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a herbicidal composition, particularly a forage treating herbicide suitable for controlling weeds in wheat fields (barley fields). SOLUTION: A herbicidal composition that contains, as active ingredients, 2-chloro-4-fluoro-5-(4-methyl-5-trifluoromethyl-3-pyridazinone-2-yl)-p henyl C1 -C5 acyclic hydrocarbyl ether and one selected from the group consisting of (RS)-2-(4- chloro-2-methylpenoxy)propionic acid, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and (4- chloro-2-methyl)phenoxy-acetic acid is used to carry out the forage treatment of the weeds. Thus, a variety of weeds growing in the crop lands and non-crop lands can be effectively controlled, moreover, their controlling power is synergistically increased in comparison with the single-use case and their doses can be saved. In addition, their combination extends the herbicidal spectrum, and particularly a wide variety of weeds can be selectively killed in the wheat fields (barley fields). |
