PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the image processor which can precisely delete garbage images and does not deteriorate the picture quality when the garbage images are deleted. SOLUTION: A positive and a negative threshold value corresponding to characteristics of a garbage image to be detected are set (S203), the second derivative of pixel values of input image data is calculated, and on the basis of the result of comparison between the value of the second derivative and the positive and negative thresholds, a garbage image included in the input image data is detected (S205). Then the values of pixels constituting the detected garbage image are corrected according to the values of pixels around each pixel. |
