PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire which has improved the durability of a bead part, by preventing the contact of a carcass ply and a bead core, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a pneumatic radial tire furnishing a carcass ply 3 consisting of at least one layer of radial cord layer, and a bead core under-rubber 4 provided at the inner side in the radial direction of a bead core 2, the bead core under-rubber 4 is provided to make about a semicircular form to the inner side in the radial direction, from the just lower side of at least the edge at the lowermost line of the bead core 2, and when the bead core height measured in the rectangular direction to the edge at the lowermost line of the bead core 2 is made D, the maximum thickness C of the bead core under-rubber 4 measured rectangular to the edge at the lowermost line of the bead core 2, is within a scope: 0.1×D<C<0.3×D.
