ADP-RIBOSYLATION INHIBITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ADP(adenosine diphosphate)-ribosylation inhibitor particularly useful for treatment for H.pylori infectious disease by formulating a carbostyril derivative as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: This ADP-ribosylation inhibitor is obtained by formulating a carbostyril derivative [e.g. 2-(4-chlorobenzoylamino)-3-(2-quinolon-4-yl propionic acid] of the formula (R is a halogen, and the substituent on the carbostyril skeleton is substituted in the 3-or 4-position and the linkage between 3-and 4-positions on the carbostyril skeleton is a single or double bond) as an active ingredient. A compounded agent prepared by mixing the above carbostyril derivative with an antibiotic (e.g. clarithromycin and the like) is particularly useful as a therapeutic agent for H.pylori infectious disease. The above carbostyril derivative is formulated in a proportion of 1-70wt.% based on the whole composition of medicine.
