PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic motor, in which a slit can be formed easily and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In a standing-wave type ultrasonic motor, an elliptical vibration is generated by slits 18 which are formed in a stator 10. In the standing-wave type ultrasonic motor, a first block 11, in which the slits 18 reaching the lower end from the upper end of a side face, are formed and a second block 12 which is stacked on the first block 11 are contained, and the slits 18 in the first block 11 are formed by a stamping operation. |
