PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a deteriorated ink through a simple structure by sustaining a stored current time data after a main power supply is interrupted, calculating the pause time of an ink head based on a current time data received from a host unit at the time of reclosing the main power supply and then performing idle jetting. SOLUTION: Every time when printing 15 commanded from a print operation control means 14, a time measuring means 17 transmits a current time to a memory means 16. The memory means 16 updates the current time as a first time data every time when the recording operation is performed. After a main power supply is interrupted, the memory means 16 sustains the stored first time data and transmits the first time data to a pause time calculating means 15. When the temporarily interrupted main power supply is reclosed, the pause time calculating means 15 calculates the difference between the first time data and a current time data delivered from a host unit 20 through the print operation control means 14 as the pause time of an ink head 11 and transmits that data to an ink head control means 13. Idle jetting is performed by a number of times corresponding to the pause time. |
