PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a transmission loss between an RF transmission reception circuit in the vicinity of a connector and a built-in antenna in the portable radio equipment provided with the connector for an external antenna. SOLUTION: An RF transmission reception circuit 14 to a feeding spring 17 are provided to a lower part of a printed circuit board 13 corresponding to an external antenna connector 12 provided to a lower end of a case 11 of a portable telephone set 10G to feed a lower end 21b of a rod antenna 21L longer thanλ/4, a support fixture 22 in contact with a middle part of the rod antenna placed to an upper end of the case is connected to ground of the printed circuit board to act the rod antenna being the upper part from the printed circuit board like aλ/4 monopole antenna stable.
