PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three dimensional image without irregularity of tone and cross-talk. SOLUTION: A direction of a transmission axis of a polarizing light film 3 of a liquid crystal panel 10 is in a same direction of a transmission axis of polarizing light films 23 and 24 of solid glasses 20. And, this system is arranged so that a direction of a lagging phase axis of aλ/4 board 2a for a left eye of a liquid crystal panel 10 and a direction of the transmission axis of the polarizing light film 3 of the liquid crystal panel 10 form an angle of 45 degrees; the direction of a lagging phase axis of aλ/4 board 2a for the left eye of the liquid crystal panel 10 and a direction of a transmission axis of aλ/4 board 21 for the left eye of stereoscopic glasses 20 form an angle 90 degrees; and also a direction of a lagging phase axis of aλ/4 board 2b for a right eye of the liquid crystal panel 10 and a direction of a transmission axis of aλ/4 board 21 for the right eye of stereoscopic glasses 20 form an angle of 90 degrees.
