<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily manufacture a shape member such as a locking catch connecting a belt tensioner driving body of an occupant constraining system of a vehicle on which high degree stress acts, for instance, to a belt winding device at lower cost than a conventional technique, and the shape member manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: In a method for manufacturing this shape member, a shape material of an aluminum alloy is prepared at first, a shape piece 10 of a prescribed length is made by cutting this shape material to a certain length, next, the shape piece 10 is inserted into a press 14 and lastly press working into a desired shape is performed for the shape piece 10 in the press 14. Thus, a load supporting shape member made of aluminum cold-worked is provided.</p> |
