<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a permanent virtual connection PVC totally and schematically by the intention of a maintenance personal without giving effect on a communication state of a PVC not being a switching object in the case of switching the PVC. SOLUTION: In this system, a plurality of PVC switching information tables 3 are selected. Then contents of each entry of tables before and after switching are compared and in the case that there is an entry whose content is not coincident, a connection path denoting the entry in the table used at present is disconnected and a connection path denoted by the entry in the table used after switching is connected. Thus, since no processing is applied to the entries whose contents are coincident, the PVC is switched totally and schematically by the intention of a maintenance personal without giving any effect on a communication state of the PVC not being a switching object.</p> |
