<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically driven corner pole capable of trying to prevent itself from being hazardous and damaged when it is raised. SOLUTION: In an electrically driven corner pole for a vehicle where a telescopic pole is automatically raised and lowered with a driving source actuated based on a signal from a control part 2, one or more than two out of turning an ignition switch on/off, putting/pulling an ignition key, positioning a shift lever, applying-releasing the parking brake, locking/unlocking a door, opening/ closing a door and fastening/unfastening a seat belt, are detected by respective corresponding detecting means 21 through 27, and one or more than two detected signals obtained from these detecting means are inputted into the control part 2 so as to be concurrently processed by the control part 2, so that the telescopic pole is kept in an extended condition only when the vehicle is running while occupant are on board, and only when the vehicle comes to a full stop. By this constitution, it can be tried to prevent the occurrence of hazardness, and prevent the pole from being damaged when the pole is raised.</p> |
