Method for controlling the access of computers on data of a central computer

The method involves regulating an access of several computers on data of a central computer, whereby operations on local copies of a genuine subset are performed. Protocol files which contain the operations on the replicated data are sent to the central computer for the synchronization of the genuine subset. If several conflicts occur through the access of several computers on data records on the central computer during the synchronisation, a regulated access on the common data is performed for the solution of the conflicts. This change of the operation mode for the solution of conflicts can be performed automatically by device of a pre-settable threshold value for acceptable and not acceptable collision numbers.
