PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, in an image forming device equipped with a developing device employing a two-component-developing system, an image change with a carrier-resistance change by means of a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: An electrode member 42 is set so as to be in contact with a magnetic brush on the surface of the developing roller 43, and an ammeter 421 is connected to the electrode member 42. A change in current flowing in the electrode member 42, via carrier 44a, from the developing roller 43 when a development bias voltage is applied to the developing roller 43 is detected, and development-bias duty is changed based on the result of the detection. |
