PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire for all-season passenger car which has an excellent drainage performance, without reducing the manuvering stability on a dry road surface, the snow road property, and the lean abrasion resistant performance. SOLUTION: A block pattern formed of numerous inclined grooves is provided, central peripheral direction grooves 4 are provided, a tread is formed of the central area and both side areas having the width of about 30 to 60% of the tread width, the inclined grooves consist of sharp inclined grooves 1 and gentle inclined grooves 2, the sharp inclined grooves 1 are opened to a central peripheral direction groove, the gentle inclined grooves 2 are opened to the tread ends TE, the intervals in the peripheral direction of the gentle inclined grooves is less then 1/2 of the intervals in the peripheral direction of the sharp inclined grooves, and the gentle inclined grooves 2 are provided more than two times of the number of the sharp inclined grooves 1. And sipes 6 are provided to the blocks, and the surface partitioned by the central peripheral direction grooves and the sharp inclined grooves are chamfered along 10 to 30mm in the longitudinal direction from tapered front ends, in order to make shallower gradually from the tapered front ends to the large width parts. |
