<p>The ratchet tightener has a turning shaft (4) in a base body (3), a releasable tooth lock to stop the shaft turning back, a locking wheel (5) on the shaft and two locking plates (13,14) in separate guides in the body. The two locking plates are fitted on the locking wheel, diametrically opposite each other. The shifting direction of the locking plates is basically congruent with the central longitudinal direction of the base body. The base body may be U-shaped, with the arms of the U parallel to each other, forming its side walls (10). The shaft may be fitted in sockets in the side walls of the base body.</p> |
