<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat-curing type cement composition, high in productivity and capable of giving a wood-based cement board having an improved dimensional stability, and to provide a method for producing a wood-based cement board by using the same cement composition. SOLUTION: This heat-curing type cement composition is obtained by blending a cement composition obtained by adding 0.2-2.0wt.% alkali metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid to 100wt.% cement component consisting of a heat-curing component containing an alumina cement and anhydrous gypsum and/or hemihydrated gypsum as main components and a portland cement, with a silicic acid-based powder in a weight ratio of (the cement component : the silicic acid-based component)=(3:7)-(7:3). The method for producing a wood-based cement board is to mix a wood-based material and water with the above composition, mold the mixture into a prescribed shape and then cure the molded material by heating.</p> |
