<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect breakage of a gate arm by a simple structure. SOLUTION: A gate arm breakage detector is constituted of a hollow gate arm 2 to be so turned as to keep a road such as a crossing road into the releasing state of the blocking state, and provided with into end side rotatably provided to a crossing main body, a cord member 3 attached to the other end of the gate arm 2 and stretched and provided toward one end side in the cavity of the gate arm 2, a pin 4 for locking the movement of an actuator 5 normally energized in the specified direction in the normal time of the gate arm 2, for releasing lock when the gate arm 2 is broken, and provided on the end of the cord member 3, and a detector 6b for detecting a detecting element 6a provided on the actuator 5 when the gate arm 2 holds the road in the releasing state and the gate arm 2 is normal.</p> |
