PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink compsn. having a relatively small surface tension and improved in printing properties, safety, dryability, optical concn., lightfastness, and resistances to dry smear, and water by incorporating an aq. vehicle soln., a pigment, and a vesicle-forming lipid into the same. SOLUTION: An ink compsn. having a viscosity of 1-10cP at 25 deg.C is prepd. by compounding an aq. vehicle soln., a pigment, a substance (such as a fatty acid, a triacylglycerin, glycerophospholipid, sphingolipid, or steroid), and 0.5-30wt.% vesicle-forming lipid and, if necessary 0.0001-4wt.% life destroying agent, 0-70wt.% wetting agent, 0-10wt.% antioxidant, 0-10wt.% pH controlling agent, 0.001-5wt.% drying accelerator, 0-10wt.% surface tension modifier, etc. The vesicle-forming lipid comprises liposome which forms vesicles each including a hydrophobic pigment 21 and composed of multilayer films of lipid molecules 5 each having a polar head group 7 and two nonpolar tail groups 3. |
