In a mop wringer a mop head 17 is positioned against an imperforate reaction plate 14 and squeezed by a roller 33 moved by a handle 35 about a pivot axle 28, the roller 33 being biased away from the axle 28 by spring 30 which assist the wringing action. The wringing mechanism is mounted above a tank 36 having compartments 37, 38 for fresh and used cleaning liquid, respectively. A plate 41 is provided against which the mop head may be pressed to squeeze excess unused cleaning liquid thereform. The tank 36 is provided with front feet 7, rear wheels 2, and intermediate feet 8 for supporting the apparatus on a stair.</p> |
