摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of generated sludge and the like, and increase decomposition efficiency of organic substance when wastewater is utilized by using microorganism as a catalyzer, which conducts an electrode reaction without using electron transfer medium in a circulating voltage current measuring method. SOLUTION: Carbon non-woven fabric is used as an electrode in order to increase the surface area of the electrode, and a space between a positive electrode and a negative electrode is isolated by a cation exchange film to minimize the resistance of a fuel cell itself. A phosphate buffer solution containing potassium chloride is used as a positive electrode conductive medium, and a phosphate buffer solution is used as a negative electrode conductive medium. In a plurality of types of bacteria separated from paddy soil, a standard strain is used, which is of type having optimum deoxidizing force of ferric ion, oxidizes lactic acid into acetic acid to produce energy required for growth and development, and grows at a relatively low temperature. The bacteria produces ATP while oxidizing pyruvic acid into acetic acid, and grows as its energy source. The lactic acid is utilized through the same metabolism route after oxidized by pyruvic acid.</p>
