PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the sampling of a synchronizing signal extraction system and the discrimination speed of a pulse height value from restricting communication capacity by correlating optical encoding signals with different delays, which are generated in a reception-side, with reception signals by optical correlation detection, integrating the photoelectric signals of respective delays by partial code length and discriminating the pulse height value. SOLUTION: The light reception signal and the light encoding signals with different delays, which are generated on the reception side, are correlation- detected in a 3dB coupler 7 and a balance detector 8. A band pass filter 9 takes out the signals. A square detector 10 execute detection and a partial code length integrator 11 executes integration. Then, a discriminator 12 discriminates the pulse height value. Thus, optical correlation detection is executed. Thus, it is not necessary to execute correlation synchronism between the light reception signal and the optical encoding signals of different delays by using the band pass filter 9 and the square-low detector 10 and a system can easily by constituted. Namely, the division/multiplex transmission system can effectively be executed by extracting the optical synchronizing signal. |
