PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for ink jet print which enable continuous printing of images excellent in image quality and durability, using a print medium having on the print surface side a layer of which the physical properties change irreversibly. SOLUTION: A printing means 20 which prints an image on a printing medium by using an ink jet head 31 which can discharge ink, a supplying means 10 which supplies the printing means 20 with the printing medium 1 having on the print surface side a layer of which the physical properties change irreversibly and a post-processing means 10 into which the printing medium 1 whereon the image is printed by the printing means 20 is introduced and which executes a post-processing for changing the physical properties of the layer of the printing medium 1 irreversibly, are provided. |
